Need help with my upgraded PC

January 25th, 2020

Well, I’ve upgraded my PC, today.
I’ve changed the mother board, CPU, power supply, graphics card, etc.
The problem I’m having now is when I start my pc it comes up with Nero Boot-Loader V6.0, I have no idea what this is and I haven’t installed anything. The problem with this coming up is that it asks me to create a diskette, which I cannot do, and when I press N for no it just restarts my PC and goes through the same cycle.
Does anyone know how to stop this? Because I cannot access my PC.
Also, I’m having trouble installing the drivers for my PCI Device and my sound isn’t working, so if you can help with that it will be greatly appeciated.
If you want to know more information about the new parts, just ask.

Answer #5
Anyone?
Answer #6
You first format your hard disk and then install windows again, and then the drivers, if not automatically done.
I suppose then you will get your sound back.
Answer #7
Well, I’ve tried updating the drivers for my sound but it says there aren’t any newer drivers. Yet my sound won’t work. I’ve tried searching for new hardware but the only new hardware found is the PCI device, no sound device. I don’t know what more I can do.

Some drivers for your specific mobo here:
http://www.asrock.com/mb/download.asp?Model=ALiveNF6P-VSTA
First thing before you install the OS is to go into the BIOS and check all the settings.
When upgrading your hardware as you have done it is always best to do a fresh clean install of the OS if you want happy computing. Format your HD (NTFS) in DOS using Hirens Boot CD (Partition Magic or Acronis). Give some thought to the number and size of partitions you want, set them up as Primary partitions. Set the C: partition active, set all others to none (check no partitions are hidden) then install the OS to C:
For your sound ….. After installing drivers check all the settings in Control Panel/Sound & Audio Devices and also check the volume control that sound is not muted.
