Burning blu-ray movies

September 19th, 2013

What I thought was BD25 files were the blurays with movies, menus, extras, etc. Well I just burned a BD25 file and popped it in the PS3 and apparently its only the MKV that gets burned as it goes to a full DVD right away. Am I missing a step or what?

What exactly are you asking? Did you copy a bluray? Or just burn a file from here to the blank BD25
Because you mentioned MKV and DVD…

Well I shouldnt be typing when I am half asleep cause that first post really made no sense. My bad.
Basically I downloaded BD25 BDMV file, from what I gathered was that it should include menus, extras, etc. when I burned to my BD-R.
Essentially I took the BDMV folder, put it into DVDFab and burned it thinking I would get it to look like a legit disc. Problem is it seemed to turn out in just a movie format (no menus, etc.) and played right off the bat when I put it in my PS3.
Just wondering if you have any idea why that happened, did I download or burn the BDMV folder wrong or what?
