[Solved] How to Jailbreak new iPhone 3G?

I just got a new iphone 3G (not 3gs) and i’m trying to jailbreak it.
I have tried with Blackrain and it worked, but it didn’t install cydia or anything to install it.. So is there another way to jailbreak my phone and getting cydia on it? Greetz,
when blackrain is on your phone…download cydia by clicking blackrain and installing it from thier…then when cydia is installed open it and add this source to it (by going into manage) cydia.hackulo.us then youll be set
edit…once cydia is installed and you add cydia.hackulo.us to the list of sources in cydia search for a app called “appsync” then youll be able to transfer ipa from itunes to your phone

Doesn’t seem to do it now , worked on my other iPhone 3gs but not on this one.
The exe on the pc says it’s done but I can’t find the blackrain installer on my iPhone.

No, I quit itunes first, then I run blackrain.
keep itunes up and try it again…ive done 3 iphones for me and friends with black rain and every time ive had it connected to itunes when i do…b/c a message pops up on itunes going “your phone is now going into recovery mode” blah blah blah…try that and then let me know what happens

Nope, but it dous get the white screen like it did when I had jailbroken my other phone (3gs). And what do you mean by reset? At the last stage it reboots and I get a message on my pc that the jailbreak is done once the device reboots.

i got same problem,you can try this way:
(hope you have latest version of itunes,and firm. 3.2.1)
– before u run black rain make sure that your iphone is UNPLUGGED to PC
– run blackrain first and then conect your iphone
– in a maybe 15-20 sek you get circle at the bottom and your iphone should
reboot very soon
now u should have blackrain icon on your springboard
after that standard procedure: install cydia – uninstall black rain – in cydia add source : cydia.hackulo.us and install appsync for os 3.1
and that’s it
