Answer #1
Xp uses less recourses and for vista 2GB ram is minimum for optimal performace. So that means you have about 1.3GB ram of spare
Answer #2
so u think if ill have like 3-4 GB ram , it will be the same as XP?
Answer #3
Screw Vista I say. Stay on XP as long as you can. Only go to Vista when it’s absolutely necessary, like when you have over 4gb ram and have to go 64 bit. But not before that.
Answer #4
well if you want the full 4GB ram, get 64bit then vista will run better. Your hardware is built for vista so it will run better on it if it has the right recources which you will if you get the 2GB extra
Answer #5
so my specif. + 2GB ram and Vista is better than 2GB ram and XP sp 3 like right now ?
Answer #6
yea and if its gaming your after with the latest then no problems
Answer #7
oke , thanks all for ur help. im gonna buy that 2 GB soon
Answer #8
With your system Vista will run fine. It won’t run as well as XP is running for you right now, but it will run nonetheless. If you go 4GB you’ll have to get the 64bit edition for the system to read the 4GB. Running Vista with 4GB RAM and the hardware you have will be a breeze.
