How do I rar a file?

On rapidshare the limit is 100mb, if I have a 170mb file how do I make it into 2 rars? Then when you click on one it makes the whole file.
Like how every movie and tv show is done on this forum.

Right click on it, ‘Add to Split Archive”

Then at the bottom under the speed..there is a drop down and you choose 98 000kb!
