Need For Speed Undercover (xbox360) Glitching/Stuttering

August 5th, 2016

Hi all,
I have recently got NFS UC for the 360 and burnt it at 2.4x to Verbatim DL, then installed it on my Elite’s HDD. When playing the game, as soon as anything more than my own car is on the screen, i.e. other racers, traffic, breakable content etc, or going around corners the game glitches and slows down terribly, as if the 360 cannot load the data fast enough. The console is not hot, and I noticed that playing from disk and not HDD increases performance a bit (which seems odd) but the problem remains.
Anyone else suffering with this?
It’s making it almost unplayable…

no idea m8, just wait for the game to be offically released and then ask on the xbox360 forums and get a mod for answer your questions

Answer #4
Thanks, I thought that might be the case so I have asked in the topic which I grabbed it from but I’ve not had any response yet. I guess as has been said, I’ll have to wait a while.
Cheers.

I have the same problems so you’re not alone
I used the same verbatin disc to burn it to. Perhaps oud dvd reader is collecting to much dust or something

Turns out this is a common issue –
PSM3 have given the PS3 version 62/100, saying that there are some "technical issues" (slowdown) round corners, despite there being very little traffic on the roads. This is not good, especially when you consider that EA decided not to release a demo, because they would be spending more time making the full game better
The slowdown is so bad on corners it completely screws your corner up.
IGN: "The end result, however, is a game that has practically zero redeeming qualities. It fails on almost every front and is a major step backwards not only for the franchise, but racing games in general."
Oh dear…
