August 5th, 2016
A very handy program (if you’re using Win XP) is AudioShell. It won’t work in Win Vista
AudioShell 1.3.5
AudioShell is a freeware MS Windows Explorer shell extension plugin which allows you to view and edit music file tags directly in Windows Explorer. AudioShell supports MP3 (all ID3v2 tag versions), WMA, ASF, WMV, Apple iTunes AAC (M4A and M4P), MP4, OGG, FLAC (vorbis comment tags), MPC, MP+, monkey's audio, WAV pack, optim frog (APE and APEv2 tags).

For Windows Vista and 7 you could Mp3Tag:
Mp3tag 2.45a
Mp3tag is a powerful and yet easy-to-use tool to edit tags of MP3, Ogg Vorbis, Musepack, Monkey's Audio, FLAC, and WavPack files. It can rename files based on the tag information, replace characters or words from tags and filenames, import/export tag information, and create playlists. The program supports online freedb database lookups for selected files, allowing you to automatically gather proper tag information for selected files or CDs.

Media Monkey is a great tagger/organizer, but only a mediocre player.
Mp3tag is a phenomenal tagger.
but for everything in one, you can’t beat foobar2000.
So which out of these would be better to use if I still want to have WMP the default media player?
btw im using windows 7
MP3Tag
You can also try SongrBird (freeware) and AllMySongs Database (Shareware).
You can download SongBird here: http://getsongbird.com/
btw im using windows 7
