[SOLVED] Cant conntect to the internet after fresh install

This is a different laptop who have helped me earlier today =) I just did a fresh install of xp pro sp2 on an HP Pavillion 5000
Normally I can just plug in the ethernet cord and download all the drivers and wallah! but for some reason I cant. Please help.. again and again and again

To plug in to the internet as you put it needs the Network adapter driver installed..
Go to the HP website and download all the necessary drivers for your system..

hahahaha omg. I have another computer in front of me with internet access and im asking as if I couldnt get to the internet HAAHAH WOW! but anyways..I have never encountered this problem. What could I have done if persay I couldnt get to the internet?

What you could of done is download all the needed drivers before formating and reinstalling…That’s what most of people would of done…besides..You should have a drivers CD that come with your computer..It might have outdated drivers but it will get you going so you can download the latest drivers..
