Need For Speed Undercover help needed

ok this is weaird it happens with pro street and undercover for me..
for pro street untill i applied patch it was lagging
undercover is now lagging and my friends with worse computers then mine run it just fine
i think core 2 quad q6600 is having some issues with need for speed games
idk anyone can help me out>?

Yeah i have the same problem too :S
what i did is setting everything to maximum LOL
it actually did work
