wont turn green? elaborate, you are confusing me. If you press the buttons on the monitor to adjust setting, do the options come up that allow you to adjust them, or nothing?

Graphics card might had gone bad?
Answer #6
Yep – sounds like a graphic card issue. Check to make sure it is seated right. Check your bios – do you have integrated graphics (onboard graphic card)? If so you might have to turn it off in the bios if you have a video card installed. does your video card have a power connector – is it connected? There can be a lot of reasons but it’s centered around your video display unit if the monitor isn’t getting a signal.
Answer #7
Concur, sure sounds like the video card to me as well. If all your bios options are in check, possibly check the fan on the video card to see if it’s running when the cards hot. Fans quit and fry components when they do. If all the physical checks are in order you may want to try uninstalling and reinstalling your drivers for your video card. I have had drivers get corrupted for no reason at all. Thats hard to do though if you have no video at all. Just curious, do you have on board video? If you take the card out and plug up to your onboard video jack what happens? That would isolate the problem to your card itself.
