Problems with my WEP and WPA security! Need help!

Yea, the netgear program that came with it is very basic and doesn’t do much :S
The WEP key doesnt work either, so it’s unsecure. Need to fix this!
What program should I use?

You don’t need any program. Just log in to the web interface of the router.
By default it should be 192.168.0.1
Enter that into the the address bar of your browser.

I’ve tried that. The WEP security doesnt work, it doesn’t access the network!

WPA is much better than WEP. Configure your router from 192.168.0.1 to use WPA.

They both don’t work either way.
I make a WPA code and then put that same code into the computer that had the wireless adaptor inside it and it can’t get into the LAN
