Windows Explorer Has Stopped Working

WTF, every time I try to right click on a .RAR file, it says Windows Explorer not working. HALP?

Sounds like a registry error, clean/defrag you registry and try again. Something might have been overwritten. Do you use any programs like My Unistaller or anything? Its possible you could have deleted a needed reg entry as well.
Thats all i can think of atm tho, if i can think of more i’ll edit.

explorer.exe is not Windows Explorer. Explorer.exe is actually Windows itself.

Try a System Restore to a point before the problem started.

could just be lagg from to many programs being installed i recommend reformat if you can copy your important files onto an external hard-drive or something like that. that is what i did

I think it’s the third party shell extensions thing!
but i can’t extract the program it tells me to DL because when I right click it closes!!!
