Does all PCs supports all Graphic cards

My buddy has got IBM D845 P4 ~1.8Ghz, will this PC can support any NVIDIA graphic card having 256MB memory?
Btw plz recommend some good yet economical card with 256 MB mem!

It’s not the memory that’s the problem, it’s the slot the card fits into.
At the moment there’s two main types of slot, agp and pci-e (there are others, but that comp won’t have them).
You need to identify the slot on the motherboard, and then identify which slot the card needs (most likely the card will be pci-e, BUT there still are agp cards being sold)

nah.. just AGP slot..

Try a nvidia 6600gt, agp – pretty good, not great like an 8800gts, but usable for sure.
