We need more information before we can suggest fixes but for the time being:
– Your internet speed is largely dependent on the plan you subscribe to from your ISP. What’s the bandwidth that you’re supposed to be receiving from your ISP?
– Do you have your networking drivers up-to-date?
– Are you on a wireless connection(WiFi)? If yes, what’s the strength of the signal to your computer?
– Make sure you havn’t forgotten a torrent downloading in the background that’s causing slower speeds
– If you’re running a WiFi network, ensure that you have it secured to prevent leechers from getting at your bandwidth
Hi guys sorry for no posting a lot of info… so i regularly have 400 kb/s download speed… now i ran a test my ping is 15 my download speed is 3.00 but when it comes to upload speed is says error…. i installed the driver and rebooted but nothing….. any thoughts? thanks for your time!
400 kb/s download is average, you should be fine just make no one in ur household is using the wireless & internet to watch YouTube while ur downloading, thats the Maximum speed a 3 mbs internet provider give like bell or rogers… Plus ur DAMN speed depend on what ur downloading and their respective servers…torrent, rapidshare, file hippo, Microsoft…
ok thanks guys for your help!
