Malware ?

August 1st, 2018

Good day,
I have noticed I keep getting these random pop-ups for a few days and ads that I never had before..
I think I have ad aware or mal ware (not sure what the difference is).
I have avast antivirus and I did a full system scan but didn’t find a thing.
Do you guys know how I can remove this ad aware/mal ware? Do I have a virus?
Thanks in advance for the help!
Greetings!

malwarebyte and spybot. Scan in safe mode with no internet.

I would like to recommend you to use Eset Nod32 Antivirus.
It protects from virus, malware, trojans. Best AV now.

Guys nothing is helping.. Downloaded malwarebyte, scanned full computer, it found some infected files.. I removed them all but still have pop-ups.
Even did the same with adaware from lavasoft but still nothing.. Still get pop-ups.
Is there no other way to remove them except formatting my pc.. Thanks !!

Check your program list in Control Panel, probably some crap installed that shouldn’t be, Always use custom install when installing anything (even updates) and make sure you uncheck boxes for any add-ons as if you’ve let it be installed it probably won’t show in scans.

What malwarebytes did you use was it free or pro because free is useless i know this from personal experience,I use spyhunter 4 now much better than mbam.

If you mean pop-ups in your browser window, some program you’ve installed, might’ve added a plugin to your browser(s). Try disabling plugins you don’t know. Other than that, the tools listed here should be able to find any other mal/spy/ad- ware.

Your on a site and you thought it was free? Its always free
Thanks for the spyhunter 4. Going to check it out. Having an extra one while scanning wont hurt
