[SOLVED]Long delay when right click at desktop…

Hi to all!
I have a problem in my windows.. I have to wait for long time after right clicking on my desktop to get menu … although this didn’t happen when I right click on other than desktop…. like in any folder windows etc….
I don’t know why this is happened…. I install a fresh windows…
Please somebody help

sounds like another program trying to start up in the background or your anti virus,
it would help of you advise us of which version of windows your using and any other programs or you could have malware, try using malwarebytes from apps section to clean up any spyware
also ccleaner to clean up any junk files, then let us know from there on. (reboot pc after that)

You mean you installed a fresh copy of windows recently or you asking if you should do so ?
On the topic :
1-Did you install any software that modifies right-click pop-up menu ?
2-Do you have a lot of icons(shortcuts .. whatever) on your desktop ? (shouldn’t really matter)
3-Have you noticed any unusual behavior aside from this ?

I had the same thing happen when I installed Macdrive Pro. Fortunately I immediately associated the problem with that specific program, uninstalled it, problem solved

Post what solved it then, in case someone else has a similar problem.. and bothers to search (I know, I’m a dreamer!).
