Would you pay USD $270 for a 512GB SSD with this spec?

If not, why?

I assume there will be a standard SSD size, 512 sounds great. I would ever pay $270 for an SSD.

No, I wouldn’t (Too expensive for my liking). But it’s your decision to make.

I presume the one you asked about is a also a refurb (Otherwise it would’ve cost a lot more money!)
Also, Do keep in mind that due to the price>capacity ratio, SSDs are not yet considered complete HDD replacements! Most people just get a small SSD (90/128) which they use as their boot drive (OS/Apps) and use a large HDD for data storage.

Yeah for storing virtual machine drives, Combined with data deduplication you could fit 30-60 vms on their easily.
But for consumer use, Do you really really need 50-60 games installed at the same time ? 120GB is more than enough.

I see no need to spend the extra $$$ for a SSD, I just don’t see enough of a need for speed to offset the cost… Why pay a couple hundred extra bucks to save 5 minutes a day…

I think that is a very good price, at least where I am from, a 500gb ssd is about 400 dollars
