[SOLVED] I need advice on buying best premium VPN

August 3rd, 2013

Hi fellow Wbbians!!
I am thinking of buying a VPN to protect my internet privacy. I want one, that allows me unlimited traffic, fast speed, and has many servers to choose from different countries to hide my i.p. I have previously used free VPN called hotspot shield, but it is slow for downloads and includes ads. I want to now invest in a premium VPN.
I found some VPN’s, but don’t know which is better??
StrongVPN
HideMyAss
CyberGhost
PureVPN
if anyone has any experience (or) recommendation, please share your opinions here. You’re help will be much appreciated!

Having had a look at all the VPN providers i have decided to go for VPNtunnel!
My reason being they Keep NO traffic logs and they are based in Sweden. (As Sweden is known for their Swiss banks and pro-piracy). I think my privacy will be safer their than using a VPN based in US.
thank you helpdesk team, very fast and expertise responses. Thank god i did not post my question in Off-topic

Good choice. I’m assuming you read their blog? Just in case you didn’t catch it, here is something to keep in the back of your mind:
As you can see in our privacy policy, we apply a no logging policy on all swedish servers, and a 30 day logging policy on the other servers.
On the non swedish machines we store ip addresses and time stamps of login and logout.

So just make sure to get on a Swedish Server and you’ll have nothing to worry about

I came across this really good site that has users submitting reviews of VPN they have used. However the website user review for VPNtunnel is very poor!
I am now having second thoughts on whether to go ahead and buy it! http://www.vpnreviews.com/?p=256
Has anyone found a VPN that will let you download & share from p2p, torrents, usenet etc without breaking their T&C?
Answer #8
I still recommend vpn4all:

As far as I know, they don’t log your activity, they give great support, and they have a system that is very secure. According to them they use AES-256 RSA 2096Bit, an encryption that it is impossible to hack. Don’t know about that but it seems pretty legit.
Answer #9
Thanks for the suggestion DSR. The only cons for vpn4all is that they do not support IPv6 support, and no port forwarding.
Other than that, they seem like a reputable company.
Answer #10
They are a very good company. Some users here have been using it for years now.
Answer #11
Ok cool… I will keep you updated on how things go!
Answer #12
Yes, I would like to hear your feedback from them, if case you choose their service.

I have been using them for a number of years now, mainly for work, but also watching crap on Hulu (I’m in UK), I’ve only ever had one issue, and they were extremely helpful and helped me resolve it very quickly.
I hope they do support IPv6, my ISP is currently changing us over to it. I’d better go and check it out.
