problem with install Windows XP Sp3
August 4th, 2016
give me this STOP 0x000007E (0xC0000005, 0xF73D2452, 0xF78D9ED4, 0xF78D9BD4)
acpi.sys address F73D2452 Base at F73C7000, Date Stamp 3B7D8550
i have the last update of bios,in the bios don’t have options to disable or enable ACPI….
Did you change AHCI to IDE Mode in the bios settings?
i dont have that options to change
Most definitely you have..Even old systems have it..Check the SATA configuration..
in the SATA configuration i have, battery life and performance…i try with this two, months ago, still don’t change anything
If you try to install Windows XP on a newer laptop, sometimes Windows XP failed to detect the hard drive, especially if your laptop using SATA AHCI mode. That's why you need to slipstream your SATA AHCI drivers into a Windows XP cd
What MGSM suggested might work..
Use nlite to slipstream your SATA drivers..It’s a free Apps..Google it..
You don’t even need to slipstream .. there is a screen that pops on that asks if you need to install other drivers. You can point load the ahci drivers at that point too.
Save yourself a lot of headaches… Don’t install a 13 year old unsupported os on a new computer.
The problem is you don’t get to that screen to install the drivers..
Sleapstream helps detect the Hard drive..
We don’t get to decide what people want..If he wants help with XP then that’s what he gets..
I have this HDD TOSHIBA MQ01ABF050 (34JZCQA0T)
can anyone find me the driver?
I was just reading that if you apply the bios update, that the achi option becomes available to you.
http://www.toshiba.co.uk/innovation/jsp/supportMyProduct.do?service=UK#tab3
Doing this would make the installation if it is just a matter of a quick flash – they have a iso version so you don’t need windows to do this.
I had that kind of error or even same with my computer…My harddrive was dead, didnt let me format or anything. I bought new one and and problem was solved.
I do not say that you have to do the same, i just said what i did hopefully its something easier

I gonna kill myself
I gonna kill myself
That’s a bit drastic! Before you do I think you have been barking up the wrong tree.
The error you listed is concerned with acpi.sys which is nothing to do with hard disks.
acpi.sys is: Advanced Configuration and Power Interface
Windows XP looks to your BIOS on installation to install the correct power management scheme so it can shut down / hibernate etc correctly.
The Satellite C50-A-1JM is a modern laptop that has an UEFI Bios something XP cannot recognize.
You need to disable “secure boot” and switch to “CSM Boot mode” to enable legacy support.

and:

this concerns forcing the installation of the correct acpi by hitting F5 during installation.
Hope this helps and prevents your premature demise.
He can’t get to the F5 option apparently – it dies before it even gets there.
You can only disable secure boot from Bios 1.3 so if you haven’t updated, you need to (info from the toshiba forum).
The other thing to note is that no drivers have been made available for XP or even Win 7 (although for win 7, most win 8 ones will obviously work).
There is an article by Toshiba on downgrading:
http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/TSB2C03F80002R01.htm
It covers Win 7, but it should work for XP.
know give me this 0x0000007B (0xF78D2524,0xC00000034,0x00000000,)
again the give this 0x0000007B (0xF78D2524,0xC00000034,0x00000000,)

Did you google that?
You may receive a "Stop 0x0000007B" error message in the following scenarios:
A device driver that the computer boot controller needs is not configured to start during the startup process.
A device driver that the computer boot controller needs is corrupted.
Information in the Windows XP registry (information related to how the device drivers load during startup) is corrupted.

There are hundreds more.
Can you take a picture of your bios settings? Something is probably still not quite right.

when is on uefi show me securite boot, when is on csm dont show me
Under SATA interface, choose IDE (I’m guessing that is one of the options there)
under the sata interface is performance or battery life, there is no IDE…
So how far in the process do you get know? ie when does the stop error occur?
It might now just be a matter of a F5 to install the driver.
know give me this 0x0000007B (0xF78D2524,0xC00000034,0x00000000,)
You need to be more effusive. Please give more details, at what point of the install is this cropping up?
I presume this is a new error and we have got passed the acpi error?
To me it looks like it is now not loading the correct SATA driver for the hard drive. If you can’t switch to IDE in the Bios then you need to find F6 drivers for your controller.
You could try slipsteaming the Mass Storage Driver pack into XP from here:

Here lies your problem:
Toshiba will not be putting out drivers for anything but Win8 and newer for this machine. This doesn’t cause so much of an issue with Win 7, but if you are inexperienced or don’t have / want to spend time in searching for solutions, YIKES
Your problems have only begun! Even when you get XP installed:
– those function keys on your laptop: nope – many of them won’t work without the driver – oh yeah, it doesn’t exist for xp. You might get lucky through hit and miss installing other Toshiba drivers for older models but …
– audio and video and the sd card reader and …. XP will not have many of the required drivers available as the hardware was developed years after the doors closed on XP. And XP really didn’t have a good MS repository of drivers built-in.
So … be prepared to do much more grunt work on getting things running.
