Malwarebytes disables protection..
August 2nd, 2013
I don’t know what it is but the last weeks i have to enable protection of mb everyday manually!
The last period i had enough times i un-/and reinstalled it so i’m tired of that sh*t too.. .
What could be the problem?
what version are you using?? try getting the new one and see if that works o.k !!
kaspersky internet security 2012/pure is enough
If your using PRO, and are in fact talking about it doesn’t enable when you start up your comp. Then you don’t have “Start protection module with windows” box checked. Go into Protection>click start protection module with Windows.

wow
why not kaspersky it detects everything mallware +++
It’s theabsolute best & the only reason it’s down in the ratings (2d or 3d)is the price!
There is no AV that detects every single thing, but there are AV’s better than others.

I don’t want to get busy with changing the key every few weeks that’s why i don’t want it! But i don’t know.. if kaspersky is that good maybe i’m thinking to buy an official one!

I agree with you but how about Internet Security packs instead of single AV’S? Would they detect malware better?
The reason i use malwarebytes is a few years ago i was in some deep sh*t with infections and mb was the only program that saved my *ss. Superantispyware and a few others didn’t detect the problem!
Mbam is a very good (maybe the best) on demand scanner. It’s RTP and firewall are not sth special, meaning that the free version and a AV / firewall combo of another vendor is in fact a better choice than the paid one. Should you choose to change mbam, a very popular choice would be comodo firewall + avira / avast / panda cloud antivirus.

http://www.avast.com/en-eu/free-antivirus-download

But before you installing those, you should scan your PC with a bootable AV CD like Avira Rescue System or Kaspersky Rescue Disk:

Like Jack says, Mbam is good for manual scans, but also use an antivirus for real time.
If your Windows is considered genuine , you can use Microsoft Security Essentials.
Set and forget, basically, and it updates itself regularly
Guys don’t get me wrong.. mb is not the only software i use for protection.. i just use it in combination with avast free home edition which i now use for years and i refuse to use another av because i’m satisfied of it!!!!!
You have to know that maybe in 10 years of my internet use i just got caught 2x with infections.. the first time mb was the saver and the problem was solved.. the second time which is not that long ago i got caught so heavy by infections that even mb didn’t solve the problem and neither did avast.
Recovery(back to basic settings) was the only thing that solved the problem!
I gotta say, Avast is crap. You don’t need to have an AV installed on your system as long as you know what you are doing. AV’s are for people that are usually sloppy.
Avast is crap????Man.. i got 2 times infection problems in maybe 10 years so.. and i’m often on the net so i don’t think that’s “crap”?????
Because you’r careful. You can surf the net for 100 years and don’t get infected if you use common sense.
