Yea, he also wants to do gaming!
You must have never used an 8400GS before, its an imitation GPU (not a real graphics card) lol.
When you cant afford a new GPU, you buy one used. That is how I picked up my last 2 GPU’s, and they have both been amazing cards.
Check your local Craigslist first, then use eBay. Right now on my Craigslist there are 3 GTS 250’s for 45, 45 and 65 and like 4 9800 GTX’s all for about 60 bucks.

I would recommend not gettign anything less than an 8800 GT.

Honestly this is hard to give a good recommendation as a NEW card (unused) for $65 is quite limited. However like others suggested, if you can find one used online or using classifieds – THAT’S the way to go as many will sell a perfectly good card for dirt cheap when they upgrade. I sold my x1900 set (2 cards) for $120 – I wanted more but honestly used PC hardware doesn’t sell for much.
