Is it legal downgrade from Windows Vista Starter to XP Pro?

I want to ask, is it legal if, I have Windows Vista OEM Sticker attached to my CPU, then I want to install Windows XP Professional from OLP CD? If it is legal, please give me the reason and link that ensure the statement. If not please do the same thing too. Please help me. I need the answer. Thanx.

@ studier : go ahead mate.that vista OEM sticker is just to get to your notice about the OEM thingy, so that you can use it again when you want blah blah..no connection what so ever with XP installation.so go ahead.

It’s not legal…Your computer is licensed for Vista OEM not XP…If you have a windows XP legit key…That makes it legal….

same. I usually keep a legit version of an operating system. I thought i might aswell help windows out
If you have a legit XP serial/disk then it will be fine and LEGAL. Just changing an operating system will not viod a warranty (usually), check your Terms of Service.
