PSP question

January 7th, 2014

I’ve been looking all over the internet for a decent explanation and I keep finding a lot of info that confuses me.
What I want is simple:
I want to download psp games (that I found here on the forum) and be able to play them (so not PAY for them, funny word on a warez forum) on my PSP.
What do I need to do for that? I came across jailbreaking, pandora’s battery, something with memory sticks, … but still haven’t figured it out.
I am running firmware 5.02.
If anyone knows, or has experience with this, PLEASE help me out
Thanks a lot in advance,
Kind regards,
Kevin

You need to install and custom firmwire onto the psp. I did this a few years ago with a pandora battery, not sure if it can be done another way now as I haven’t kept up with it. The pandora will set your psp firmwire back to 1.5 i believe and then you can install the CFW. After that just download the games and put them onto the psp; this will require a memory stick with adequate size. If I remember correctly you can make a pandora without having to open up the battery, if you can that will save you some money.
