DVDFab 8 trouble

I am aware that I only have 25gb bd-r and I know that I may need blank 50gb bd-r depending on the length of some movies, but what confuses me is when I change the settings either in the copy or clone stage from 50bd-r to 25gb-r and it tells me the full 100% of the movie can fit, but it always doesn’t. It’s time consuming to go thru the entire process of copying/cloning for me to get all the way to the end of the process when I enter my blank disc for it to tell me there is an error or it’s unsuccessful.
Quick example: I rented the blu ray movie Hoodwinked Too…..I went to the “blu-ray copy” selection in dvdfab8, changed the settings to 25gb bd-r…….it advised me it would only use about 18gb to fit 100% of the movie onto the 25gb disc…….i got through the process of copying which can take an hour or more…..then it comes to the part where i need to “insert blank writable media” to continue…..once i insert the blank 25gb bd-r, it gives me an error message or advisises me that it is unsuccessful…….but on the other hand, I did the blu-ray movie Bridesmaids and it worked fine……….please help!….thanks in advance!
Sorry for the long inquiry, but i just started using dvdfab8 and copy/clone blu-ray discs last week and wanted to make sure i was clear on where my issue is…….i understand if i need a blank 50gb bluray depending on the legnth of the movie, but why does it advise me on some movies that it will fit on a blank 25gb blu ray disc and doesn’t work all the time………i’ve tried about 6 different blu ray movies and been successful on about 3 of them……..thanks in advance!
Sorry, the initial question is why is it when I use dvdfab 8 to copy/clone a store bought BLU-RAY to a blank bd-r that all the movies do not complete successfully?
