wireless network

I m trying to setup a wireless network using my PC and a laptop what do I need to set it up any help would be apreciated pc is running XP 2k and laptop window Vista

If you want wireless network to connect to the internet then you will need a router that wireless is built in with it. Get a good router that can handle your wireless network in boost range in case your on the other end and router is on the other side of the end.
If or after you got a router, simply go to your router page, and set up your wireless by steps like set up password and stuffs. Make sure you have installed drivers for your wireless network so it could be able to connect to the internet via wireless router (or built in wireless on the router). If you just want to transfer files, and such via wireless network then I’m not quite sure about it, I haven’t done this before.
you will need a wireless access point, and if your laptop doesnt have one built in, a wireless adapter. if you want your desktop to be connected wirelessly as well, you will need another wireless adpater
