windows explorer alternative (Solved)

windows explorer keeps crashing and comodo keeps asking to terminate it when im doing something like revo uninstall or installing new games so are they any good alternatives you would recommend anything thats is remotely just like explorer so i dont need to get adjusted to the change but is simple and wont need to crash all the time thanks

I think something is wrong with your windows installation, maybe time to give your pc a good re-format and re-install to freshen up things since its the beginning of the year and all.
For explorer alternative, I use SpeedCommander. Takes getting used to but it’s a great application though.

Well there is no work around from Explorer as thats what you need to run your computer.

snowbird is nice and simple. not even 300kb, and doesn’t even need to be installed.

note that explorer.exe is more than just the file manager. it is also responsible for the entire windows shell, including the desktop, taskbar, and start menu. is all of this crashing, or just the file manager bit?
