Vista using my current legit key?

Im running windows vista home premium at the moment and i want to reboot my pc with vista agian to remove my current problems with the laptop. My question is can i use my curreny key from My Computer > Properties on a copy of vista i downloaded from this forum? Will it work as a legit copy without installing patches etc. Thanks in advance.

Have you even tried? They won’t shoot you for trying you know..
Besides, told you it will work, trust his professional opinion and try it. If it doesn’t, use a cracked version like most of us do.

Yea…I confirm it works..I do it myself all the time… You can even use your key with a 64 bit version…Just don’t expect the home premium to work with the Ultimate…
