video editing and vista problem

Ok, I have tried about 4 different video editing programs. Watermark factory, watermark master, video edit magic.. you name it. None of these programs are working for vista. The farthest I get is being able to try and publish the video, then the program just closes. no error, no nothing, just closes.

Virtual Dub works fine

i tried virtualdubmod and i couldnt get a transparent watermark on there.

Vdub was 1 out of 6 programs that actually worked on my vista.. thx!
