Problem playing video files in windows Vista
November 1st, 2013
Curiously I can play video in media player classic that comes with the community codec pack.
The problem goes away after I restart and then resurfaces after a few hours.
I have reinstalled my video drivers , vlc but problem still persists.
Dell 1525, Windows V. 2 gb ram.
Try preferences –>video–>output module there first check advanced options and then change the module to opengl , or maybe the codec is not supported by VLC .
Not codec. I can play the same file in the begining but after few hours from the time when comp was turned on , Vlc won’t be able ot play the video file. the same file I played earlier.
Just did what you asked and VLC crashed.
I have reinstalled my video drivers
you check for newer drivers ?
try uninstalling the driver then install/re-install drivers
