Updating a Jailbreaked Iphone

So i wann jailbreak mu 2.2.1 Iphone. What if i wanna update it when 3.0 will it mess my Jailbreak up?

firstly, i think you have to restore your iPhone with original firmware… the update and jailbrake and unlock again

You dont need to. You can upgrad to the oem fw with no problem I used to do it all the time with my touch

yes you can, but fw 3.0 will be locked for some carriers and also not jailbreaken for third party apps and cracked apps

You can easily jailbreak a 3.0 beta firmware version. The only problem with that is the Baseband will be updated, and its not downgradable. So if you update the iPhone, you will be locked into the new baseband, and won’t be able to use YellowSn0w to Unlock your phone. You still can use a Sim-chip…

Push and hold Home + Lock button together for few seconds… line 10 seconds or so…
It will restart, then it should boot.
