Nintendo DS R4 Chip?

What is this chip and where can I buy it from? Also what is the whole concept around this chip? Thank you very much for the information! Happy Holidays!

I would get a CycloDS chip instead. Better overall. I bought them, and I love it.
It works with all the games, even japanese/french/UK games.It also has custom templates. Love it.

Well its a good chip.
The problem with it is that its been a bit old on the NDS scene.
The spring is terrible.

As I suggested a LONGGG time ago, (Massive revival…) Get the Cyclo DS instead…

this is a pretty old post, dont get a R4 they are not supported anymore, (they stopped updating software so newer games dont work), get a cyclo or a acekard since they are the best right now.

Better get an M3 DS Real, cheaper, uses microSD Cards upto 16G, FW is always updated (almost every month) with a great Sakura mode:
