Wii Backup Launcher or Wii Mod Chip?

What is better as I am thinking of getting one of these. Which one will allow me to update and play online? Thanks.

modchip ftw. its cheap and always effective.
never have to worry about updates blocking softmods then re-installing the soft mod again.
As for online, modchips dont get detected its the copy of the game that gives it away. Unlike xbox360 or ps3 your console doesnt get blocked only your friend code for that specific game, so you can still go online
WiiKey 2 just came out recently Ive heard good things, i have the now outdated d2pro and its still kicking .

Well i play online, works great, but to update is another story, it is possible but care and reserch should be undertaken, if your not careful you could BRICK your Wii, good site about updating and Wii mods/hacks :
