Ps2 turns on then off after installed mod chip modbo 4

Hello. I know that ps2 chips may be a very old discussion, but I have a version 12 slim ps2 and have just finished painstakingly installing the modbo 4.0. Now when I turn my ps2 on, the light turns green for one second, then shuts off back to red again. I have opened it up and discovered that a wire had just came loose. I also made the ground and 3.3v wires a little shorter.(they’re probably about an inch long or more now.) put it back together and still the same thing. I would greatly appreciate any advice I could get on solving this problem. Thank you

U shud used “swap magic” method to play ps2 copies/back ups. No need open up console

Yeah. I just didn’t want to have to deal with swapping discs everytime and always having the locks jammed or having a fliptop cover.

Is there a possibility that it might be overheating?

Hmmm. I’m not sure really. I’ll try using something as a heatsinc. I’ve searched a lot on google and many people have had the same problem without tampering with it. Some people suggested it may be a fuse somewhere. I have checked one of the fuses but I can’t locate the others.
