New IDM lousier than the older version?

Ok, v5.15 IDM got me a maximum of 1.2mb/s. I guess thats damn freaking fast.
v5.17 Idm gave me a peak of like 600kb/s. Any idea y this is happening. Btw i didnt want to update. Its because the program told me i didnt register and dont allow me to ontinue using. This is stupid

5.17 build 5 works the same for me in XP and Win 7….
Try searching the appz section and update ur IDM and correctly patch/register it

Maybe you should specify your speed under Options > Connections..

I’m guessing your problem is the AMOUNT of connections you are allowing IDM to make. Set it to 16

the speed difference is taken when i am downloading a single file. BTW its from rapidshare

…set the default max conns to 16.
