You can get a cheaper case, or you can just wait a bit more and get it like this
You can use the same HDD till you get more money to get a better one.

Easy mate… If you ask me you should invest a little more then 1000 dollars and you could have a much better pc for little more money. You also should go with 8GB RAM in my opinion. And Intel Core I7-920 or Intel Core I7-950?
Answer #22

lol no. The X6 is only faster than the i7 in Cinebench and a few other synthetic benchmarks. It’s completely obliterated by the i7 in gaming and general single threaded performance
Btw the Xeon X3440 is basically an i7 with a lower price and lower stock frequency
Answer #23
I agree with linel’s build. In the near future you can change your CPU more easily, as the past has shown. AM2+ & AM3 is compatiable with each other in most cases.

Not really. AM3 is dead too. Bulldozer will not work in current AM3 motherboards.

That makes no sense. Bulldozer not working in AM3+
But yes, as I just found out Bulldozer will not work in AM3 socket.
This time go with Intel, D r e a M’s build is good.

This time go with Intel. The current AM3 motherboards will not support it. AMD will release a new chipset along with Bulldozer that also has the AM3 socket. The chipset will have will have the new support for quad channel memory and the other new stuff that Bulldozer will bring forth
That makes no sense. Bulldozer not working in AM3+
Sorry I made a typo
