I have an avi file and srt file. what process do i follow to get the movie and srt file onto the disk cause nero 10 aint accepting it
Answer #1
you can just burn it as a data disk and put the 2 files on the dvd(cd)
and if you want to convert it to a dvd movie to play on a dvd-player use convertXtodvd and select both files (it will make a dvd movie with selectable subtitles)
Answer #2
i checked on convertx to dvd. do i just change the audio/subtitle source if it isnt the default one selected?
Answer #3
Just put the movie & srt in the same folder and give them the same name, convertxtodvd will automaticly import the srt file when you import the movie
Answer #4
what if there are 2 srt sources? would i then have to choose?
Answer #5
No, every subtitle that hase the same as the movie will be imported
Answer #6
well what if the english srt is slightly named diffent

Answer #8
It won’t import it if it isn’t the same name, but you want multiple subtitle languages?
then just add them manualy:
after you imported to movie, click the little “+” next to the movie, right click on “subtitle” and just browse to the other subs
Answer #9
yea iv read a tutorial similar to that. so say i have a spanish+eng sub, based on tut i go to the spanish srt and change it to english, correct? what if i just right cilck and remove that subtitle. same effect?
Answer #10
Yep, you can just remove the subs you don’t need
Answer #11
im asssuming u can do the same for language tracks too? just remove all except the one u want?
Answer #12
Don’t know that for sure, but you can always try, just load the movie in the program, and see if you can remove the audio track, but I doubt you can, I think it has to be removed with a seperate program, although I don’t really know what program to use for that
Answer #13
