Lookin for help from graphic designers.

I am in a class where I am suppose to design a typography logo with my name in it. I have currently picked out some great fonts i would like to use in them but from that point i am not sure what to do beyond that. Any kind of help would be great.

if its a type logo, dont look for fonts, create it with the pentool by yourself.
it will be much more creative that way.
or just use helvetica.

You could try making letters different angles or words in different angles, like these two examples:

Start with a nice Sans-Serif font and make variations and adjustments with the pen tool.
I’d suggest something like Helvetica Neue Light, Muli and Futura.
