New graphic card or new pc?
August 4th, 2016
My computer specs are:
– Using Windows XP Professional
– Intel(R) 3.00Ghz pentium(R) 4
– 1.5G RAM
– Asus P4V8X-X MOBO
New PC time mate, that spec just wont cut it for games these days..
You could add a cheap card tot he mix to do you untill you can afford a new pc.
Say a 9500GT or equivelent would be fine.

So I can play the games then? Will there be problems or something else?
U need a new PC.
To select a graphics card, u need to work out an approximate budget.

You will be able to play many games. You will never be able to play the latest games at high settings unless you buy a whole new computer though.
Ok thanks guys!
I don’t have the money yet to buy a new pc..
Maybe I buy the 9500GT now and buy a new pc with the same 9500GT in it or do you recommend a better card then?

Yes i would reccomend a better card when you buy a new pc.
If your gonna buy a new PC then yes you would need a better card than the 9500GT, to play the latest games you dont always need a really expensive card though. I have a 9800GX2 and it plays any new games i buy.

Ineed to save some money.. maybe in 3 months or something
Answer #12
If you want to save some money, you could go with a GTX 260, cheapest 135. It is a great card plus its one of the new 200 series so it will definitely play all the latest games.
Answer #13
Do not buy one of those cards to go in your pc right now.
You will also need a new PSU to power a fast graphics card. Even with a new expensive fast card your pc will bottleneck it and you still wont be able to play latest games on high details. Don’t buy anything expensive untill you have enough cash for a complete new pc.

Oh sorry, ive probably been misleading in what ive been saying. The cards i have been mentioning are for a new computer if you are thinking of buying one, not to go in your old PC for now.
