New graphic card, will it really help?

May 12th, 2018

Hey guys, I’m on my new AMD 9550 X4 PC and it’s working pretty good. I can’t play fallout 3 or many other games at top graphics thought because I have a ati radeon 3200 graphics card. In about a month or two, I plan on upgrading it to one of the following; which one is best and why?
PNY – XLR8 NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT EE 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express Graphics Card

Answer #1
out of the ones u hav posted the overclocked 250 gts wil be the best, the 250 is just a more advanced version of the 9600gt’s, i didnt check the prices to see which is best in comparison wit price/performance
Answer #2
All right, I’ll try to get that one, it’s only $150
Answer #3
out of what you have listed there i would go with the BFG – NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250 OC as it is the next model up from the 9800gtx+ which is better than the 9800gt and the 9600’s and i said the bfg one because from what i know they are just a more reliable and well known brand. But if this is going to be your last upgrade for awhile i would suggest forking out the extra dough for a GTX 275 http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=9293542&st=gtx+275&lp=1&type=product&cp=1&id=1218076081264 or even a GTX 260 http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=9293542&st=gtx+275&lp=1&type=product&cp=1&id=1218076081264
Here is a review for the GTS 250 http://www.overclockersclub.com/reviews/bfg_gts250_oc/
And one for the GTX 260 http://www.overclockersclub.com/reviews/evga_gtx260/
And finally one for the GTX 275 http://www.overclockersclub.com/reviews/nvidia_gtx_275/
You could also do a search on that site yourself to compare all the graphics cards your looking at, hope I helped.

ATI Radeon HD 4770 This is the first graphics chip to use a 40nm fabrication process. http://www.techspot.com/review/163-radeon-hd-4770/page7.html
Answer #5
But if you compare its results to any of the nvidia cards I listed it gets beaten take alook, but I will say that for price its a good card but also from experience ATI drivers are quite buggy and some games are unplayable because of it.
