ISO File question

January 23rd, 2020

Can I burn multiple ISO files on a blank DVD or do I have to burn each ISO to a blank CD for them to work properly. The ISO files are different language packs for rosetta stone. Any help would be appreciated.

Well depends on the size offcourse…. but you can burn them as data files so u still use a virtual drive program like dameon, magic iso and so on.. That way you can get more on each disc. So yeah its possible.. all depends on the size and weither you wanna run it through the dvd drive or virtual disc… Which btw is more or less the same since you need to enter your disc in the computer no matter what… Was that any help? i know i writte in total chaos.

You can burn multiple ISO’s as data files to one DVD, however if you want it to work correctly and autorun or boot up from you can only have 1 ISO and it has to be burnt as an image.
ie. if your just trying to save some space and put the .iso files on dvd’s to move them around or to another computer then that’s fine. but if you’ll want them to auto run then burn individually…
I would recommend the best way by far would be to put them all on one DVD as a data file then d/l a tool like Daemon Tools and just mount them. A lot faster and you don’t have to burn multiple DVD’s you can just run them off your computer.

Thanks for the replys, I don’t use daemon tools and want the files to autorun so I guess i’ll have to save them to separate CD’s.
Answer #4
There is a way using one of those cd autorun makers, you could extract your iso’s into folders and put them on the dvd with the autorun utility which would bring up a menu and ask which program (setup.exe) to run from which folder. It would be similar to one of those All In One applications the guys make with twenty programs on one disk and you click on the one you want to install.
