Ipod Touch – Jailbroken :S help?

Did it all correct I thought?
Followed the quickPwn program etc.. Had 2.1 firmware but not the 2G ipod.
Have itunes 8
but now I am stuck at the apple logo and can not boot my ipod touch?
I heard I can delete springboard.plist or something?
Can’t connect to itunes either cause it says I have a pass code or whatever..
Help?
DFU restored I think, Now it’s given me the new 2.2 firmware.. damn! haha
Right, Going to take the passcode off now.
Is there a way I can jailbreak it?
It is a 1G ipod touch not a 2G
