ipod touch 3g 8gb

im thinking about buying one tomorrow but only going to buy it if i can jailbreak it because i want it for cool apps. i want to know if its possible to jailbreak the ipod without it being able to be switched off an on

i looked at a few posts and the word tethered as come up. which i think means you cant turn it off. if you do you got to go on pc and start it up

The only jailbreak available is blackra1n, so you can’t turn your ipod off
but I personally never turn of my ipod, since I use it for an allarm clock, don’t have to wait for it to power on, I haven’t turned it off in 5 days and battery is only half drained

ipod almost never gets completely turned off on its own if u use it once every 8-10 hrs
if u turn it off, to turn it back on u have to connect it to your computer and jailbreak it again, takes abt 1 min to do so, but u will need a computer to do it

if you would turn it of you would need to hook it up to a computer/mac to boot it up again and jailbreak it again

what happens if it turns off. how do you turn it back on
gotta plug into ur computer and run black rain again. About 5 seconds. I think unteth will b in a few months

Doit mate, i’ve done mine and my bro’s 8gb and 32gb 3g ipod touch’s.
Fair dooz, you can’t turn them off, BUT its worth it for what you can get. If you wanna turn it off, all you gotta do is hook it up to PC, run blackra1n, click 1 BUTTON, wait, done

dont get an 8gb pod though, if u r getting one get the newer 3rd generation 16gb or 32gig version, the 8gb versions are slow and have old hardware in it

i got cydia on ipod so where i go to download that file (appcync)
