How to avoid DMCA reports

July 26th, 2016

hey guys,
in the last 1-2weeks my files get deleted like crazy for some certain tv shows like Gotham, Constantine, Arrow etc., i reup it with new md5 + new rar name, but it still get deleted again in less than 48hours, and its just for me as i check other big uploaders links and they are always online (at least Gotham what i checked), so there is a special “fan” of me who follow my threads and report the links like every day or what?
i know there is a certain type of ~ censored ~ who simply copys out my link from safelinking for his topic, but its only 1 example, i reported it and since then i dont find links from the same user with my own links
can i do something extra beside md5 change and new name?

Well you don’t have a special ‘fan’ if you’re worried about that. For a link to be taken down they need to file a DMCA report and in that, you need to verify that you are the copyright owner or represent the owner.
Now some file hosts when they get a DMCA report, find and take-down all files with the same name (and variations sometimes). Safelinking does not help much – it’s just an annoyance for the companies hired to find and take-down links.
It can be that your account is being monitored by the file host as it has been hit with take-down requests. I know in the rapidshare court decision, RS was required in the end to put this in place.
So: – don’t use the name of the tv show / movie for your file name
– I know there is some debate on this, but throwing a password on the file can’t hurt (so the contents can’t be discovered by bots)
– when you are able to do so, open a new account rather than using the old one
