Are the reporters here running bots to reports on wbb?

August 5th, 2016

I have shared “a file” here and it has been reported to ~ Dead file host ~ 39 times so far, and I have re-upped it 40 times now.
I have shared the same file (the content) on 3 other forums, and they have only been reported 2 to 4 times. How come stuff on wbb gets WAY faster reported than other forums? It can’t only be because wbb is the biggest. The other forums are quite large as well.

its maybe because members here support a lot the forum, and i think more than any other forum for sure.if the members care about the site then the forum’s system goes on well!!

What does that have to do with my question?

no way to really tell
is you number of views much higher here than at the other places
it may just be that WBB is monitored more closely than the others because of it’s size

The reasons that Rapidshare deletes files (that I know of )
1) OBVIOUS title in link of upload ex : http://~ Dead file host ~/files/ACDC BLACK ICE.rar
2) Size of upload = known size of illegal content 3) Your competition on boards REPORTS your links – that’s my bet in your case – re-uploading a file 30-40 times makes me think that is why.
I’d recommend you add a small pic (3-5mbs) to ALL your future uploads and PASSWORD protect them also.
But NOTHING will stop your competitors from reporting your links to Rapidshare – sad but true – people want those RS points and the glory.

Well I have tried to change the name to something like free-demo.rar and it got reported as fast as acdc-blackice.rar. Same as if I put a password on the file. Why should I put a picture on the rar?

Probably spies on the board, or someone into creating music who doesn’t like to see the royalties go down the drain. I recon it’s self interest on the part of the reporter and not because of malicious intent.

What I’m saying :
– If your competition wants to report your file to RS it doesn’t matter WHAT you re-name it, how you alter the file size, or that you’ve password protected it.
If it’s NOT because of your competitors, you should know this :
– RS deleted your links – 30-40 times.
– RS takes notice of the size of the file of your upload.
– By adding any file TO the rar (3-5mbs picture/text document or whatever) that you’re re-uploading, the file SIZE has changed and does not raise immediate suspicion that the illegal content has been re-upped by you.
