ps i am using win xp dark edition v3
What OS are you using? In Vista there should a network logo in the bottom right corner that looks like 2 computers. You right click it and go to Network and Sharing Center. It will show your network. Look for a link that says customize in blue letters just under the icon of the world labeled internet. At the bottom of that screen will be a link that says merge or delete network locations. Click that. After that screen is open you need to right click the tray icon again and this time go to disconnect from at the top and disconnect from the network. Close the merge or delete network locations and open it again with the link at the bottom of the Set network location page. Delete all the networks in that list.
Now go to back to the Network and Sharing Center and on the left hand side of the screen will be a list of links. Click manage wireless networks. Delete all the networks in that screen. And you should be good to go.
oops sorry i forgot to mention i am on xp… lol but i may be able to use that as reference… that will also delete it from the router?? thanks alot bro i appreciate it!
To delete your profile from the router just get a pen and find the reset button on the back. Push it in with the pen and you shold be able to reset the settings again to your liking.
EDIT- I found this quote online:
“To delete a wireless network from the preferred network list, select the wireless network that you want to remove under Preferred networks, and click the Remove button.”
Well it depends you can go on to the routers home page, Like linksys is…
192.168.1.1
But yours is diffrent so i dont know it, But if you do you can do it from the router home page
Thats usually the default for most routers. Hopefully yours is password protected or encrypted.

Yup, Make sure you have a wireless password so no one leeches your connection, Try searching google for your routers IP, Have a look in the routers manual for the routers IP
Good luck
DLink routers default IP is 192.168.0.1 Just type that into your browser window and you should be able to modify settings. If there is a password and you havent set one then type in admin as the user and admin as the password. Those are usually the defaults. Just make sure you change them right away so nobody can configure your router to their liking instead of yours.

+1 Dont mess the settings up though, If you do you wont be able to use your internet Again good luck!
You can but you just have to take a pen to the reset button and start fresh.

thanks whitedragon i truly appreciate it, woiuld i really need to secure it? there arent any houses near me at all….
yeah i know how to check my ip w ipconfig lol thanks though!
Yes you should secure it. With either WPA-PSK encryption or with a MAC address filter. WPA-PSK is the most reliable encryption and causes the least amount of wireless signal drops. As far as the run cmd goes and ipconfig. That doesnt show your routers ip config. It shows your hardwares ip config.
