Pretty much unstoppable…You really need another soundtrack.
Do a search for “Cinavia ” in helpdesk.
Quite a few topics about it here.
Answer #3
In brief:
No, nothing can be done about it.
A little more detail:
MAYBE some players will ignore it – computer players mostly, VLC, MPC HC.
Some hardware players – especially the media player type things rather than proper DVD or BluRay players.
Sometimes you can fix it by taking the bluray, demuxing video and audio, replace the audio track with one from the DVD of the same film and then remux it – BUT often the DVD also has cinavia.
You cannot remove it – all the programs that claim to end up destroying the audio track.
The trigger for cinavia is a deep echo on the audio, the echo is also intermittent and is itself a coded trigger signal (so it’s different from a normal echo so it doesn’t accidentally trigger the cinavaia)
To remove it they have to destroy the echo – which also destroys the proper audio in that section of track.
If you can live with perhaps a major plot point turning into muffled junk then that might be the way to go.
In brief:
Don’t bother…

if playing movie on TV, don’t use your DVD/Blu-Ray player. Use a USB drive with movie on it. Make sure file
format is compatible with TV
Answer #5
DVDFab has a cinavia removal tool but I have not tried it. They are a well known developer so they should be reliable. Let us know what exactly you are trying, then we can help more from there.
Answer #6
get a media player or htpc that does not support cinavia is your best bet, then you will not be bothered by it. forget tv’s and bluray/dvd players because all recent firmwares, ones which support the latest bluray/dvd disks, are crippled by it
Answer #7
wrong. Standard DVD players, EVEN BRAND NEW ONES arent required to detect cinavia. Cinavia is not a part of the DVD standard.
