Burning and playing movies 1024p or 1920x1080i

August 6th, 2022

I’m compleet new in these things, have 2 movies downloaded from IMAX in that resolution (1920x1080i) and one in 1024p .
Can i burn this simply with convertXdvd / nero on a DVD to view on a DVD player or…
Need i a HD dvd player and a new TV who supports HD 1024P .
Somebody has experience with this
Thx.

If you convert it with ConvertXtoDVD and try to play it the quality will suffer greatly and there will most likely be synchronization problems. The movie will work though. Again, you can use software like ConvertXtoDVD or WinAVI Video Converter to convert these movies but there will be quality loss if you burn it to one DVD5 disk and there might be synchronization problems, so it’s up to you
Good luck mate ^_^

ok thx but what is the best way to burn it or play it . Burn it will be blue-ray is suggest or playing will be on a media centre or pc link to tv ?
Answer #3
Linking your PC to the TV is the best way. HD-DVD and BluRay players are very expensive and you will spend a lot of money on burning your movies. Basically if you connect your PC to the TV and play the movies you will get the most out the the experience
