I need router (“for yesterday” ). I do not have time to order this from e-shops. I have checked offer from PCWorld (the nearest shop in my neighbourhood).

any suggestions guys?
linksys is what i use and i have virgin never get a netgear ~ censored ~ my speed up bad ways
plus you should have got bee or bt virgin is getting really bad o speed so dont link on downloading too much in the day wait till 10 at night to not get capped

When u signed up for virgin. They giv u a free router and modem when they com down ur house when they install the broad band

I was talking bout the antennas not speed,These are two different things!
Clearly your wireless card is 802.11G and not N,Wireless G has
a 54mbps transfer speed (which translates to 6.75 MB/s actual speed)
so that’s normal.

get linksys as all you do is plug it in encrypt you wifi then you ready to go ive got a linksys WRT54GSV4 and had not one problem with it netgear i had 3 replacement due to there bad board build and speed EDIMAX ive not had but in maplins ive never seen anyone buy any so they cannot be that good.
but in the end i have virgin and they have bad routers read on the forum on how many complaints they have one them

with a antennas you get wifi mate so i dont see any difference just someone copy and pasteing stuff from sites
