Bridge your laptop’s connection.
Answer #2
how can i bridge the connection? i mean how would my xbox connect to my laptop and my laptop connnect to the internet
Answer #3
Connect to the internet wireless via your laptop, connect a ethernet cable to your xbox and your laptop, go to connections, find the connection between the laptop and the xbox, right click: bridge.
Google if you need a more detailed tutorial.
Answer #4
this means i have to get a wireless router but apparently we are not allowed them. i think its impossible without wireless
Answer #5
if i were to buy this: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/USB-1-RJ45-LAN-Network-Fast-100Mbps-Ethernet-Adapter-/280571288780?pt=UK_Computing_Networking_SM&hash=item41535a1ccc#ht_2811wt_1089
and then connect the xbox through one ethernet, then plug into the wall with the usb one and then bridge
