Living and working in China, fileserve stops working?

I am working and living in china and I use fileserve premium and rapid share,
around July this year, the services stopped working, and I am still paying and my account info has not changed, it says im logged in, but connection to downloads are simply lost without fail on whatever download I attempt, has china been blocked off? If anyone could shed light on this issue I would appreciate it greatly,

Have you tried to contact them ? Their contact mail usually have a good response time.
Do you not know that China is a Communist country and has a firewall preventing access to shedloads of the internet ?
Use a VPN.
Thank you for your greatly constructive comments Gilly, as a matter of fact I am aware of the net restrictions one has to endure when living in China. I also use a VPN, but VPN or no, this is still an issue. It used to work even without a VPN, however recently it doesn’t work at all
How are you connecting with the VPN service ? OpenVPN or PPTP ?
